As we grow organically and through acquisition, we seek an experienced distribution professional, with a sound knowledge of supply chains, to support the development of our national distribution network.The main focus will be on assessing the capabilities of the operation, understanding the opportunities and risks facing the business in the current environment, and then to build capabilities aligned to the overall corporate strategy. 

The Candidate:

A strong and driven leader able to operate effectively across all distribution disciplines, you will promote excellence in service and operational performance ensuring that the financial and non-financial goals are achieved. You will regularly undertake financial reviews, drive continuous improvement in customer service and operating standards with the active use of a suite of relevant KPIs.

You are likely to be educated to degree level in business or similar discipline. As a successful senior manager, you will be experienced in supply chain process re-engineering, leading change management, and possess exceptional communication skills.

The role:
We are looking to appoint motivated and hardworking individuals, seeking to take their retail career to the next level. This is a full time role working in a retail sales environment, utilising your sound agricultural knowledge. The role involves identifying and maximising sales opportunities through high levels of customer service and knowledge of the products available from our large portfolio. You would also be responsible for overseeing the depot including retail, warehouse and transport and be instrumental in developing the contribution and effectiveness of stores in line with business objectives, with a focus on compliance with legislation, policies and procedures.

The candidate:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate exceptional knowledge of agriculture, be commercially aware, ambitious, committed, and hungry enough to seek out and take opportunities to grow our business. You will ideally be SQP qualified, or be prepared to undergo training. Additionally, you will be an efficient accurate worker, with a positive hands-on attitude, taking on a wide range of tasks and challenges. You must also be able to cope with a physically demanding role involving substantial amount of manual handling.

The Role:

We now have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to develop and expand the contribution of the Tetbury Country Store, through utilising the specialist sales knowledge and experience from within the existing team, whilst ensuring store processes and relevant legislation are adhered to. You will be required to take overall responsibility for effective store operations including stock management, security of the site, and staff management whilst ensuring all activities are performed in a compliant manner in accordance with company policies and relevant legislation. You will also be required to maintain and maximise sales of all product areas at the store through various selling activities.

The Candidate:

To be considered you will preferably have some managerial/supervisory experience and able to manage our enthusiastic team. You will hold experience of working within a Retail environment and ideally hold agricultural knowledge as well as knowledge of the regulations surrounding our business environment and portfolio of products sold. Qualification of AMTRA SQP will be required for this role, but training can be provided for the right candidate. Taking a hands-on approach, you will also have a positive and self-motivated attitude, willing to drive the business forward, along with possessing excellent communication skills and customer focus.

We have a Store Supervisor position becoming available at our Malvern branch in four weeks time.

Full time hours (37.5 hours a week)

Enthusiastic animal lovers with proven Management experience required to join our team at Three Counties Retail Park, Malvern.

Candidates are required to be flexible to work weekdays, weekends and evenings. The role will include, but not be limited to; staff direction, stock control, opening and closing the store, cash handling and banking, merchandising, maintaining animal welfare standards, complaint minimisation and resolution, sales maximisation and loss prevention.

SQP and other animal based qualifications desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a motivated and hardworking Arable Marketing Co-Ordinator, dedicated to raising the profile of the division.

The Role: As part of this role you will work with the existing marketing team and with arable personnel to co-ordinate marketing activities for the division. You will work closely with key stakeholders to plan, develop and deliver campaigns to promote core product areas. You will support the in-house design team by drafting content for marketing communications in traditional print and digital platforms. In addition to this, you will also attend industry events to support the arable team.

The Candidate: The successful candidate will be an efficient, accurate worker, with a positive hands-on attitude and able to take on a wide range of tasks and challenges. You should be a marketing graduate or have previous experience in a similar marketing role. You will be an effective team worker with excellent attention to detail and you will be able to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
