The Role:

  • Analysing agricultural product ranges

The Role:

We are looking to appoint a motivated and hardworking individual who will support Wynnstay’s online growth. You will be responsible for ensuring that key products are visible on Wynnstay’s core websites. You will also look after the processing of online sales, including raising invoices on our internal systems, booking couriers and picking and packing.

The Candidate:

To be considered you will have a passion to get results, and thrive from working in a fast-paced environment. You  must be able   to cope with physical tasks involving a small amount of manual handling. Attention to detail is key to this role, both in terms of the product copy for websites as well as ensuring orders are processed correctly. Customer service experience and an agricultural background is desired but not essential.

The Role:

Wynnstay are recruiting to expand our Fertiliser team based at Astley near Shrewsbury. In the role you will provide customers with advice on plant nutrition, fertiliser planning, to help improve on-farm profitability.

The Candidate:

You will be able to demonstrate that you can work in a well-structured manner, whilst being ambitious, self-motivated and willing to learn. You will be able to build strong relationships with customers and trade products to meet defined targets. It would be an advantage, although not essential, to possess FACTS qualification.

The Role: We are seeking to recruit a Group Financial Controller, to assume responsibility for managing the periodic reporting cycles of the business. These will include month end internal processes, and interim and year end external reporting obligations, including overseeing the relationships with independent auditors and other regulatory bodies. Group financial consolidation processes for a number of different trading subsidiaries mean a key element to this role will be the maintenance and management of adequate financial systems, to ensure the smooth running of the finance function as an integral part of the strategic success of the business.

The Candidate: Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the successful candidate is likely to be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), with considerable knowledge of IFRS reporting standards and other disclosure requirements of a public company. A strong understanding of the demands of both internal and external users of the Company’s finance function is essential. Therefore excellent IT and analytical skills, together with good interpersonal and communication abilities are prerequisites, together with a total commitment to first rate quality and the achievement of necessary deadlines. Good corporate tax knowledge, together with corporate finance experience would be added benefits, as the Company continues to implement its on-going growth strategy.

Working within a high performance culture, candidates will be required to efficiently and safely collect, load, transport and deliver orders using a HGV vehicle, while providing a quality standard of service to our customers.

The Candidate:

To be considered you will have professional HGV driving experience,   and possess a class C+E licence. You must hold a valid Digicard and Driver Certificate of Professional Competence, and have the ability to have nights out as and when needed.
