Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update: 9th April 2020

Dear Customer
In light of the challenging situation with regard to coronavirus (COVID-19), I would like to reassure you that the health, safety and welfare of our employees, customers and the communities in which we operate are a priority for our business. Wynnstay are well prepared and have a strong infrastructure to support our employees and customers at this challenging time.

Wynnstay remains open, ensuring that we can continue to manufacture and supply our wide range of products to support your needs. In addition to our delivery service, our products and supplies, including various disinfectants for farm and household, continue to be available at our Depots.

At the time of posting this notice, all of our Depots (with the exception of Llandovery and Astley based shop counter) remain open for business from 8.30 am - 5.00 pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 08:30 am – 12:00 pm. However, our customers are requested not to enter the Depots and should continue to telephone any orders through and thereafter, collect the ordered goods from the Depot car park. Our dedicated Depot staff will serve you and offer guidance when you arrive.
Our digital capabilities remain prominent in terms of quotations and resources and can be accessed via www.wynnstayagriculture.co.uk.

Our employees are following Government guidelines on how to assess and minimise the risk posed by COVID-19. Delivery drivers are following the guidelines and hygiene policies and have been issued with the appropriate bio-security equipment for carrying out deliveries on farm. We are adapting protocol as and when these guidelines change.

We will continue to provide the full professional support that you expect from us. However, in order to minimise risk, we have instructed our on-farm sales personnel to visit farms for essential visits only and only when a pre-arranged appointment has been made and the customer has confirmed that they are happy for the appointment to go ahead. Any meeting should be conducted in the open air, keeping at least 2 metres apart. Although working remotely, our farm sales personnel and specialists are actively serving our customers by phone and electronic means.

If a close family member, or an individual who is employed at the farm, has contracted or has the symptoms of COVID-19, we respectfully ask you to inform us prior to delivery or appointment. 

As there is potential for disruption ahead, we would like to encourage customers to use electronic payment methods where possible rather than cheques. Our bank details can be found at the bottom of your Invoice/Statement. Please quote your Wynnstay account number as the reference. Thank you for your assistance with this matter.
