In this blog, we meet some of the members of the Wynnstay Eastern Seed Team and find out a little more about them and their career journey. The team are based just outside York, but are currently relocating in the process of relocating to nearby premises.

The team supply a full range of cereal seed and oilseed rape deed, as well as a comprehensive range of grassland seed. We also stock amenities & small seeds, like fodder beet & stubble turnips along with all the fodder crops. Environmental seed mixes are also an important recent addition to the Wynnstay Seed portfolio, ranging from Wildflowers to Nectar & Pollen mixes.

We have a team of ten Farm Traders throughout the East Region supplying our full range of products and advice to growers both existing and new.

Meet Jess Hansford from Wynnstay Ruthin

Meet Jess Hansford from Wynnstay Ruthin

Having moved to Ruthin from Dorset with her mother and their two ponies some 16 years ago, Jess has since developed a life-long love of ponies, as well as dogs and cats.

That love of animals led her to study animal care and management at Llysfasi College, while at the same time helping her Mum and Stepdad produce and show Welsh section A and B ponies. This remains an important part of her life and encouraged her to pursue her career in the animal health industry.
