Charlotte Vincent
Growing up on a small beef and sheep farm in mid Cornwall, Charlotte has always had an interest in livestock and agriculture, but her interest was peaked with the agricultural marketing sector.
Charlotte is currently studying a degree in BSc Hons Agriculture at Harper Adams University and is completing her 12-month placement with Wynnstay and the marketing Team. Based in the Helston Depo, Charlotte is able to have a great insight with the inner workings of the company and broaden her marketing knowledge with the Team.
Charlotte will be returning to Harper Adams in September 2023 to complete her final year.

Joe Wood
Joe grew up in a farming village near Much Wenlock, he went on to study Food and Consumer studies are Harper Adams University and graduated with a 2.1 in 2016. His studies included a year within the brewing sector, gaining vital experience in sales, marketing, and the production process and in particular the barley and malting industry.
After graduating Joe joined Wynnstay on an arable graduate scheme where he spent 3 months in each of the arable departments, this gave Joe great exposure to the arable business and was the foundation for his interest in seed.
Following a successful graduate scheme, Joe joined the arable team as a trainee trader, Joe was trained to advise on all arable inputs and was subsequently promoted to arable sales specialist following his training. After 2 years in this role Joe was given the opportunity to specialise in seed as Wynnstay’s seed specialist allowing him to further his knowledge across all cereals and forage seed. Finally, Joe was awarded the role of seed sales manager where he works very closely with all product teams and sales staff.

Dengie is one of the UK's leading suppliers of horse feed. They are approved under the BETA NOPS scheme which means we are recognised as having taken action to reduce the risk of contamination in horse feed with substances that contravene the rules of horse racing and FEI disciplines.
Sal McCauley
After graduating from Aberystwyth University in 2015, Sal began working on progressive spring block dairy farms throughout West Wales. Throughout her working career, she has attended several courses, through organisations such as Farming Connect. These courses covered key areas such as fertility, forage management, lameness and the use of animal health products.
Since joining Wynnstay in May 2021 Sal has become AMTRA accredited and became an R-SQP in September 2021. Sal is currently undertaking her PgC in Ruminant Nutrition at Harper Adam University, ROMS (Register of Mobility Scorers) training, Cow Signals training and FAR (Feed Advisor Register) training.
Kim Carnegie
Kim was born into a dairy farm located in the west of Ireland. From a young age Kim was involved on the family farm where she discovered her passion for the industry. Going on to study Agriculture at Harper Adams University she graduated with a 2:1 in 2022.
During her studies, Kim completed a 12-month industrial placement with premier nutrition. During Kim’s time with premier nutrition, she was working on the (transition management system) which monitored cows for 30 days pre and post-calving. This gave Kim fantastic exposure to why the dry cow period is so critical and the effect it may have on calve health.
Kim joined Wynnstay in July 2022 where she now works as a youngstock specialist working closely with farmers to troubleshoot problems, critique protocols and ultimately help farmers reach their goals when it comes to rearing youngstock.
Sophie Yarnell-Stinston
Sophie joined Wynnstay in 2018 as a trainee after completing her MSc in Animal Nutrition, at the University of Nottingham. In June 2022, Sophie progressed to the role of a Nutritionist where she works within the formulations team looking after compound feed formulations. Part of her role involves working with the sales team and customers to offer technical advice and how to bring the latest research concepts into practical solutions.
Steve Marriott
Steve joined the Wynnstay Poultry Team in December 2020 bringing with him a wealth of experience from the poultry industry.
Steve’s role will include technical support on feed, while also drawing on his experience in pullet rearing and breed genetics, to provide tailored advice to customers which takes all relevant factors into account.
Steve will be visiting farms regular to allow him to get to know the flocks by monitoring performance indicators such as growth, feed intake and egg weight.
