The Role: Reporting to the Managing Director of Agriculture, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and growing the national sales budget for a range of our agricultural product categories through the effective deployment of our field sales teams. Success will be measured from the achievement of profitable contribution and market share by understanding our farmer customers and applying strong people management and leadership skills.

The Candidate: To be considered, you will be enthusiastic, a self starter, and passionate about sales. Demonstrating a proven track record within agricultural sales and management, you are a leader of people committed to continuous skills and knowledge development, and hold excellent time and organisational management ability. With sound commercial acumen, you are IT proficient and a strong communicator at all levels, both internally and externally. You will also display a sound grasp of the realities of operating within a large sales led organisation.

Location: Required in Mid and West Wales

The role: Your main responsibilities as a Poultry Specialist will be to report to the Poultry Product Manager, you will be confident in providing specialist advice in poultry management and associated agricultural products and services offered by the business. As a representative of the Company, your responsibilities will also include the management of existing and new key accounts, while seeking, identifying and fulfilling new sales opportunities within your geographical area.

The candidate: To be successful in your new role, you must possess excellent communication skills, be agriculturally commercial aware, possess good knowledge of the Poultry Industry and have a strong understanding of sales and other agricultural products, with a desire to learn. You will be a team player, enthusiastic, ambitious, committed and be efficient with your time management and be able to work effectively on your own initiative. You will be organised and able to display a can-do approach, while continuing to develop strong customer relations.

Location: Based in Whitchurch

The role: Your main responsibilities will be to report to the Sales Manager covering your geographic areas driving your individual Wynnstay van while delivering an excellent and reliable service, supporting both new and existing customers to improve farm profitability. These roles will offer quality agricultural products and practical advice that adds real value for the customer. Working in a defined geographical area, you will be responsible for delivering and developing sales. To help you succeed, you will work from a van.

The candidate: To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, be agriculturally commercial aware, with a strong understanding of sales and agricultural products, with a desire to learn. You will be a team player, be efficient in time management and also be able to work effectively on your own initiative. You will be organised, ambitious and display a can-do approach, while developing strong customer relationships. A bespoke training plan will be provided for the successful candidates to support you in achieving sales targets and product knowledge.

The Role: Your main responsibilities as a HGV Tipper Driver will be to efficiently and safely collect, load, transport and deliver orders using a HGV vehicle, while providing a quality standard of service to our customers.

 

The Candidate: To be successful in your new role, you will have professional HGV driving experience and possess a Class 1 licence. You must hold a valid Digicard and Driver Certificate of Professional Competence and have the ability to have nights out as and when needed. You must be capable of performing a physical role that includes a significant amount of manual handling and be flexible in your approach to working hours while respecting working time legislation and road transport regulations.

The Role: Your main responsibilities as a HGV Delivery Driver will be to efficiently and safely collect, load, transport and deliver orders using a rigid, flatbed HGV vehicle, while providing a quality standard of service to the customer.


The Candidate: To be successful in your new role, you will have professional HGV driving experience and possess a class C licence. You must hold a valid Digicard as well as a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence. You must be capable of performing a physical role that includes a significant amount of manual handling and be flexible in your attitude to working hours while respecting tachograph rules, EU driver hour regulations and working time legislation.

The Role: We are now looking to appoint motivated and hardworking individuals seeking a career in a retail sales environment, who can utilise their specialist agricultural knowledge. You
will be required to identify and maximise sales opportunities through high levels of customer service and knowledge of the products available from our large portfolio.


The Candidate: The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate exceptional knowledge of agriculture, be commercially aware, ambitious, committed, and hungry enough to seek out
and take opportunities to grow our business. You will ideally be SQP qualified, or be prepared to undergo training. Additionally you will be an efficient accurate worker, with a positive hands-on attitude, taking on a wide range of tasks and challenges. You must also be able to cope with a physically demanding role involving substantial amount of manual handling. The role would be considered as an apprenticeship for the right candidate.
