- Use it on its own or with cress as a garnish, or add to salads
- Harvest with scissors when approx. 5cm high
Sow indoors, all year around. On moist compost, blotting or tissue paper. Sow thickly, do not cover with compost. Cover container with glass or paper. Keep moist. For continuous crop sow every week or two.
Remove cover when seedlings germinate. Keep warm and moist. Sowing to harvest takes approx. 9-16 days.
All year round. Cut with scissors when approx. 5cm high. Mustard seed may also be sown outdoors in summer, for larger hotter leaves.
Sow mustard 3-4 days after cress if required together.Â
