Sow outdoors March to May and August to October. In a prepared seed bed in flowering position. Sow thinly in rows 20cm apart. Cover lightly with fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 14-28 days. Make 2-3 sowings for successive flowering.
When large enough thin to 10cm apart. Keep moist and weed free.
June to October. Late sowing flower the following year.
Protect late sowings with clothes in cold weather.Â
