Sow indoors in February to April
- In trays of seed compost
- Sow thinly with a fine layer of compost
- Firm gently and keep moist
- Keep at approx. 15-20°C (60-68°F)
- Seedlings appear 14-28 days
- When large enough transplant 5cm (2in) apart in trays
- Stand outside for a few days in May (avoid frost)
- Transplant 20cm (8in) in flowering position
- Early indoor sowing flowers June to October the same year
- Remove dead heads to prolong flowering

- Sow thinly in rows 20cm (8in) apart
- Cover with fine soil
- Firm gently and keep moist
