Long Term Overseeding Grass Seed Mix
Our long term over seeding mixture is a simple but effective way to rejuvenate old or damaged grass leys without the cost of a complete reseed. This stitching in mix will last 5 years and is ideal for improving cutting or grazing leys in need of longer term improvement. Our stitching in mixes can also be used to patch up new leys which have not taken well and is a quick, cost-effective and low risk method of revitalising your grass ley. It is advised to graze or cut the area hard prior to applying the seeds then use a chain or comb harrow to open up the sward and create a surface tilth. It is recommended to avoid the peak grass growth months of May and June and to delay the application of Nitrogen until the new seedlings are well established.
