Green Globe is a winter hardy variety and is ideal for utilisation between October and January
Green Globe Maincrop turnip is a white fleshed variety which is suitable for autumn utilisation. Most Maincrop Turnips are grazed in situ. However it is important to remember to select a variety to cover the period you wish to graze. Stock should ideally have access to grass and or hay during feeding. Green Globe can be ready to utilise within 12 - 15 weeks and the use of an electric fence is advisable to reduce wastage.
