The Arctic 8000 maintenance battery charger by GYS is designed to charge 12V batteries from 4 to 160Ah and ensures an automatic charge 2x faster than a traditional charger. It is controlled by a mircopresser and can be safely left unattended. When charging, the battery can be left in situ and the charger can also be used for maintenance charging up to 240Ah. The charger has an LCD display which shows battery status, charging mode, real-time battery voltage and the charge status. It also has protection against short circuits, polarity reversal, over charging and has a spark prevention system.
The charger has 3 charge modes-
- Slow- designed to safely charge small batteries
- Fast- Ideal for most 12V batteries
- Cold- For cold weather and for start & stop batteries (EFB & AGM)
