Description

Newly recommended for 2025, KWS Arnie is a high-yielding Group 2 variety that excels in both the East and West, with treated yields at 106% and 108% of control. As the first cross from KWS Extase, it combines strong disease resistance, including a septoria rating of 7, with solid agronomic traits. Its moderate height, stiff straw, and resistance to lodging make it farm-friendly. With a protein content of 12.1% and a Hagberg falling number of 287, KWS Arnie meets milling specifications. However, its lower water absorption may limit its grist suitability, so growers are advised to consult with GrainLink prior to marketing.
