MonoShield™ is a non-antibiotic supplement, based on a technology that harnesses the reaction of enzymes and antioxidants. The ingredients Lactoferrin and Lactoperoxidase are a potent combination of protein and enzymes naturally found in the udder and saliva, and are incredibly good at controlling E. coli bacteria.

Monoshield is a micro tablet, which is placed over the back of the lamb’s tongue at birth. Due to its size, the lambs are able to swallow easily. Monoshield should be incorporated as part of the overall lambing protocols.
All lambs should receive one tablet at birth, as a form of prevention. If lambs are recuperating, two tablets should be administered AM and PM.
