Setter is a two year crop providing full season cover and feed. Our Gamecover range are bespoke mixtures that help the grower achieve the best from their cover crops. We combine different species to extend the utilisation period, provide feed and cover and furthermore attract and hold specific types of game birds. Setter is a traditional mixture using a wide range of species, it has excellent seed shed from September onward and is the perfect winter holding cover crop. The mixture contains Phacelia, Sweet Clover, Millet Blend, Maize, Mustard, Keeper Kale, Buckwheat and Sunflower. The crop reaches a height of 150-200cm, has a fantastic colour and is usually sown in spring.
