Newly introduced to the market in 2023, SY Buzzard is the first hybrid barley with built in BYDV tolerance. Buzzard combines high yields and very good disease package with a stand out net blotch resistance meaning it offers more than just BVDV tolerance. Sowing rate should be between 200 and 250 seeds/m2 depending on grass weed pressure.Â
