The V-Mac Diet Feeder Single Silo has been designed especially to fill a diet feeder. The silo comes with its own gantry, no other structural steel is required and there are no electrical or moving parts so this silo is relatively maintenance free. To use the silo you simply reverse or drive under the gantry and fill the diet feeder wagon directly from the silo. The feed is gravity fed into the wagon with the flow rate controlled by a pulley and chain mechanism. This silo comes equipped with an anti-separation chamber, this is a heavy duty filler pipe bend that connects into the silo and helps prevent the feed separating as it is blown in. These silos are available in a variety of sizes between 8 and 30 tonne.
