Our key goal in relation to livestock nutrition is to reduce the CO2e per KG of meat or milk through improved health and welfare. Our knowledgeable teams of experts can support farmers in achieving this goal, whether this be through increasing the productive life cycle of dairy cows by focusing on hoof health, fertility and udder health and reducing the age of first calving, or for beef, sheep and poultry enterprises, reducing the days to slaughter.

Ingredient Sourcing
At Wynnstay we take a proactive approach to sustainability and ingredient sourcing for our manufactured feeds. In 2020 we moved to using only certified sustainable soya in our feeds and in 2021 switched to sustainably sourced certified palm kernel. Wynnstay has made the switch to sustainable certified palm kernel and soya as a continuation of our drive to produce animal feed as sustainably as possible, while also considering the effect on our carbon footprint both locally and globally.
