Ensuring a veteran is getting enough fibre can be difficult, especially if it can no longer chew hay or haylage. With this in mind Sweet Meadow Senior Chaff has been specially formulated to help meet the needs of the older horse. It consists of a lightly molassed blend of oat straw, hay and dried grass.
It is a short chopped chaff which is easy to chew and digest. It can be added to the concentrate diet or fed adlib if necessary to increase fibre intake, or used as a partial or full hay replacer.
INGREDIENTS:
Cane molasses, beet molasses partially desugared, oat straw, chopped grass (field dried), chopped grass (high temerature dried), calcium carbonate, salt.
