Wynnstay Calendar Photo Competition

Terms and Conditions: The Wynnstay Calendar for 2025 photo competition is targeted to represent agriculture, equine and pet. We are looking for topical monthly photos that clearly represent your activities in these enterprises throughout the UK. The twelve photos selected by the judges will be printed in our Wynnstay Calendar for 2025. You can enter up to 3 photos per person. A judging panel of Wynnstay’s Rich Orr (Senior Designer), Richard Wild (National Business Development Manager Biosecurity and interim Calf & Youngstock Manager), Aled Davies (Marketing Administration Coordinator) and Lucy Morgan (Wynnstay Graduate) will choose their favourite 12 photographs; one to be featured each month. The closing date for entries is 5pm on Friday 13th September 2024, entries received after this date will not be considered. Each person whose image is selected to feature on one of the 12 months, will receive £50 worth of Wynnstay Vouchers to spend in one of our 53 stores; visit wynnstay.co.uk to find your nearest store. Do not take pictures with children in. Farm animals are allowed, but photos of zoo animals and animals kept in captivity are not. Please focus on agriculture, equine and pet in a rural setting, and ensure you have necessary permits for flying drones and do not endanger habitats whilst taking photographs. The competition is open to UK residents only; including Wynnstay Group Plc employees. Entrants under the age of 18 need the permission of a parent or guardian to enter. Photographs will be judged on the following criteria: composition, technical ability, Public appeal and suitability for inclusion in the Wynnstay Calendar 2025. All 12 finalists will be contacted directly by 11th October 2024. Unsuccessful entrants will not be contacted and no feedback on any entry will be provided. The Wynnstay Calendar will be published in November 2024.

 Terms & Conditions: The deadline for entries is 4 pm, 14th June 2023. Entries can be submitted through the competition form, found above or by emailing marketing@wynnstay.co.uk. Your image must be high-resolution jpegs at least 1MB in size and a maximum size of 10MB. By sending your image to us you agree for us to include the image within our Equine Offers poster and on associated social media. By entering you agree that your name will be featured alongside the printed image and in social media posts displaying the image. No fee will be paid for using the image provided. You must be the sole author and owner of the copyright for the image entered. By entering an image, you also confirm that the image has not been licenced elsewhere. If your photograph features any person or people, they should be aware that they are being photographed and permission should be obtained from all involved for their photograph to be submitted, pictures with children will be disqualified. If it is clear that the people are not aware of their picture being taken or are embarrassed in any way by any entry we receive, we reserve the right to disqualify the entry. By entering an image, you have confirmed that you have the necessary permissions from the owners of the objects, livestock and buildings included. The selected winner will receive a £50 Wynnstay Voucher. There is no alternative to the prize and there is only one prize per person regardless of how many images have been selected from the entries submitted by that individual. Images will be disqualified if they appear to show animal cruelty or any breach of animal welfare. We accept no responsibility for lost or delayed entries, please note that sending is not proof of receipt. If you are under the age of 18 you must have permission to enter from your parent or guardian. By submitting an entry for the competition, your parent/carer/guardian is deemed to have given such consent and to agree to the use of the entry as described in these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to refuse entries for any reason. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winners will be announced in the publication.
