CoolStance Copra is a high fibre, conditioning feed that is suitable for all different types of horses and ponies. Well known for being low in sugar and starch whilst providing conditioning benefits, Copra is a popular choice amongst horse owners faced with feeding challenges including but not limited to; horses with Cushing’s disease, Equine Metabolic Syndrome (EMS), Tying-Up, excitable behaviour and those prone to Laminitis.
In the UK and Europe, it is recommended feeding CoolStance Copra wet or damp. Our horses are subjected to damper pasture, higher rainfall and softer hay resulting in our horses producing less saliva when eating. We advise soaking one-part CoolStance Copra to three parts water.
CoolStance Copra isn’t a complete feed, so it is recommended feeding a good quality vitamin and mineral supplement or balancer alongside it.
