Description

Labrador is a two year full season cover and feed crop that will tolerate difficult and low pH soil types. Our Gamecover range are bespoke mixtures that help the grower achieve the best from their cover crops. We combine different species to extend the utilisation period, provide feed and cover and attract and hold specific types of game birds. Labrador provides quality cover and is ideal for use in cooler more exposed areas. The mix includes Spring Triticale, Mustard, Keeper Kale, Linseed and Quinoa and once established the crop reaches a height of 100cm. The Triticale cereal helps protect the crop from rabbit damage and the inclusion of Sweet Clover helps fix Nitrogen and improve soil quality.
