LG Typhoon translates its potential yield into actual yield extremely well, making it one of the highest yielding variety's on the farm. A high tillering variety that performs well at low seed rates, it can be drilled from early to mid-September, exhibiting a genuine suitability for earlier sowing, with it's slow speed of development and prostrate growth habit. In the spring when more vigorous varieties are hungry and yellow, Typhoon is green, and hugging the floor. Exceptionally resistance to yellow rust (9) and Septoria (7.2) it gives good untreated yields and some degree of flexibility when fungicide timings are under-pressure.
