This V-Mac 4 Tonne Hopper is designed as an efficient way to handle feed. This waterproof silo is constructed out of 3mm folded galvanised sheet steel which provides increased body strength. Hot dipped galvanised legs help to promote long life and aid in keeping this hopper elevated. The rubber sealed lid can be easily opened using a smooth rack and pinion system which can lock the lid in an open position. The lid folds above the body of the hopper which means it can be positioned tight against a wall or shed. This hopper can be filled with an 8ft bucket and has a 91cm clearance under the discharge chute; allowing it to be emptied using barrows, bags or a loader bucket. An integrated filler pipe also allows the hopper to be filled by blowing feed in through the conventional way. This hopper is also available to purchase without the lid (see item 57204).
