V-Mac Legged Silo

The V-Mac Legged Silo is an ideal solution for storing animal feed and and can be used for bagging or for an auger connection. The silo body is made from rolled galvanised steel strip with the seams interlocked providing a complete smooth wall finish which ensures optimum feed flow within the silo. A heavy duty filler pipe with low angle bends to reduce wear and tear enters directly into the low angle lid. A 6 inch breather pipe promotes air flow through the silo to remove condensation. The silo comes with a standard bagging chute with reducer fitted to the cone that is operated with a lever mechanism. Where the silo is to be connected to the auger it comes with a standard auger plate - for a small extra charge we can fit a 6inch bagging chute on the cone to allow you to bag off. The cone is 42 inches off the ground as standard, although this can be raised to suit requirements. These legged silos are available in sizes from 5 tonne to 16 tonne.
