The highest yielding Group 1 milling wheat with reliable Hagberg and excellent specific weight, Zyatt continues to be in demand from millers and bakers. Best on heavier soils, a good second wheat and suitable for later drilling. Its well documented weakness is yellow rust, with an rating of 3 it will need robust management. Its septoria tritici resistance is the best of the group 1s but overall it will need definitely need a helping hand in the spring with fungicides. Agronomically Zyatt is reasonably stiff with medium maturity, it has an erect growth habit and open canopy, so it avoids black-grass situations, but matures evenly making it easy to combine.
